    I actually think sole survivor needs to go, in a sense its similar to shake it off in that it is very situational and not beneficial to single boss raids and usually even during adds... It has plenty of uses soloing and/or dungeon content but why make it function this way when you could give it uses inside raid environments like they did with shake it off. This is actually a perfect chance to change sole survivor into an actual tanky cooldown which drk could really use for some more self sustain. I would say drk needs an HP grab the most even though another mitigation cooldown wouldn't hurt... technically sole survivor was an hp grab anyway albeit a very clunky one.

    Go to page 50 at the very bottom you can see my personal list of what I would like to see changed with DRK... though it should be it's own thread at this point... they would also need to buff PLD and WAR stuff to make sure that DRK doesn't get all of the attention...

    The changes you suggest are a bit overboard. We really only need a few tweaks to a few skills to bring DRK to the level of the other two tanks.

    Give Bloodspiller a life drain (A good hit would be similar to a clemency heal)

    Make Sole Survivor a buff instead that gives the Dark Knight life drain on damage. (Which effectively fills the role that Foresight used to play). Killing an enemy while it's active resets the duration.

    Delirium could stand to either be a shorter Cooldown or a better buff. Maybe it have it extend -all- allies beneficial effects by 8 seconds. Draw them into the fold!

    Dark Passenger could work with Blood Weapon. I think that'd help it a bit at least in AOE situations.

    Blood Price should generate Blood based on Health lost.

    It seems fairly similar. We on the English forums tend to put out more and admittedly often crazier (for better or worse) or more complex suggestions, while I tend to see more just pointing out of what they feel is a problem with light and simple suggestions for fixes on the JP forums.

    For example, one that I see pretty often is they feel Blood Price is weak and they suggest it return a bit more MP. Pretty sure I saw Shadow Wall and it being worse than Vengeance and Sentinel brought up with the suggestion to shorten the recast. Saw some people say that Delerium felt underwhelming and I think they wanted a shorter recast on it. I'm sure there's more I just don't recall off the top of my head.

    So all in all really not all that different, just on the tamer end.

    I'd be happy if they just add a discard item option on the DRK soulstone so i dont have to constantly get reminded of how shit the class has become in 4.0.

    Damn, prolly one of the most savage and witty comments I've read so far this year. I actually lol'd.

    Kinda ironic that stormblood questline the soulstone breaks and so does the class itself from what I hear. I never got to experience HW dark knight so...

    Mained it in 3.0 loved it and did everything on it then when i got into SB i hit 70 and instantly dropped it for SAM.

    The current DRK design is just full of self contradiction and its severely underwhelming in multiple fronts compared to both PLD and WAR.

    Playstyle wise there is no longer a high risk/reward to it and its become extremely simple boring and ineffective there is not much to optimize on DRK because the class wont let you.

    Love how WARs can fit vengeance for some tankbusters back to back, while DRKs need life support after using shadow wall. PLD really needs to get their damage potential lowered if they can just run in circles like a monkey and spam their -26% sheltron every 25 secs while doing the same damage as a WAR. Heck, PLD's rotation even ignores trick attack while optimizing, how more simple can it get? *cries in drk*

    On the note of "class identity" and the dev's being silent, sure would help to know what/how they expect the class to be played. with quietus/AD/Sole Survivor/Salted Earth/BPrice being parts of our kit the only thing i can take away from it is we're expected to do mass-pulls and attack as many mobs as possible, with a few skills tossed in for boss encounters.
