I wish there was some explanation or justification directly from Yoshi P about this. Write a letter, explain why he thinks this is balanced. There has to be some statistical data that's causing him to do this, and it doesn't seem to correlate with what everyone here is feeling and calculating. There doesn't appear to be any benefit to having a DRK in the party aside from The Blackest Night, which doesn't really benefit the long-term battle as well as it could.
I think if there was more clarity about these things, or even an offering of explanation on how the tanks compare, we'd see less aggression.

This. So much this. We don't seem to agree on how they compare the traits on all three tanks. Would be amazing to have some info on this for all jobs.I wish there was some explanation or justification directly from Yoshi P about this. Write a letter, explain why he thinks this is balanced. If you say so.

Seriously was it to hard to give 1 hour to 1 programmer instead of like 5 seconds? It almost feel like a waste of time to open the drk code file at this point.

Reading through the DRK ones, it’s appears they’re meme’ing about Yoshi-P’s “usability changes” and a side of slat, quantity of salt will continue to rise as you keep reading on. Mention of Dark Passenger and Sole Survivor that’s been needing changes.
I do like that we’ve got something common between the JP and English forums. The meme of “usability”
I wasn't expecting anything big, I'm not surprised with what we got. I can even say I'm happy with TBN QoL buff, it's something we wanted for ages, it only took six month to get it. =D I'm not expecting anything big for DRKuntil 5.0, so every baby buff like the one to Delirium is counted as a bonus in my eyes. =B I'm ready to embrace the meme DRK became.
(in the other hand, I'm genuinly curious to try the new Warrior)

SE is patronizing DRKs and I am truly insulted.
I Main DRK, but after this... joke, but I have to look at SE devs in a new light.
When I honestly think about how I feel about DRK, I don't think they need much. After all, I don't need to be top DPSing Tank. I mean someone has to be lowman on the Totem-Pole, and as long as having a DRK Tank will not overtly hurt completing content is DPS really all that important? but a little closer then the 8-10% we see now would be nice.
And a little better self sustain would be nice...but again it's not a big deal.
It would nice to not have worst Oh-$%!# skill but again..Not a deal breaker.
(A Lot of the following will be what I thought was possible and reasonable to expect, not a wishlist)

Self sustain would be nice, as would more DPS, but ultimately I'd hope it doesn't complicate the existing rotations.SE is patronizing DRKs and I am truly insulted.

Personally, I don't care if DRK is easier like the argument back in 4.0 - tanking should be easy, we don't have enough of them and the desire to play them is rather low for queues. Even if we pumped all of that extra DPS into well-placed buffed Salted Earth attacks with some vulnerability bonuses, it'd help buff up the attacks of others for a limited period. It seems like Salted Earth is the ideal ability to indicate to the team to push DPS since it's one of the most noticeable attacks of the game.

I have never heard anyone claim that the tank dps rotation is the thing keeping them from tanking. Even before any changes tank and healer rotations are much easier than dps rotations, yet dps is still the most common role. I think it's much more likely that the increased visibility of screwups for tanks and healers, as well as the implied leader role the tank seems to get, is what is keeping people from tanking. If the reason behind these changes is to make more people play tanks, SE really missed the goal by a mile.
