Don't be mistaken. The delirium CD buff is HUGE for DRK, the dps overall will increase in at least 5%

Yeah but that still doesn't the needless nerfs they made to the class to start with in SB.

Like how unleash got it's potency halved, blood price barely gives you any mp anymore and dark passenger is so bad it's not even on my hotbar.
It's definitely an improvement but it doesn't make up for half a year of silence on SE's part.

The MP returns on blood price are largely irrelevant. Blood is more important because blood gives you access to Quietus which is your hardest hitting aoe and fuels your... MP which more than makes up for the loss of blood price MP. Also if you're going to sit in grit all day, syphon strike now gives a dark arts worth of MP, so they lowered the MP returns on blood price. It basically shuffled the MP returns from blood price to syphon strike and quietus.

The delirium change is no where near 5% of a dps increase. It is closer to 1.8 pps which is less than a 1% increase.

This is not a god like change for Dark Knights. It probably won’t even put the job on paladin’s dps level.

They made DRK so useless that you are better off taking DRG as OT, and they also nerfed WARs Berserk to try and make Inner Release AND Unchained usable, which if it was 50% damage increase for 90 seconds and made it Berserk Mastery basically turn Berserk into the brand new Inner Release for 20 seconds, WARs would be top tank for DPS, and if enrages are by timers instead phases then people will be going for DPS AND utility if mechanics hurt a lot, but they are Adamant on making sure tanks are using tank stance and are creating more problems for tanks than solving them just by nerfing the thing needed to clear content on tanks...

Well on the plus side, we are almost to 100 pages of posts and nearly 1000 comments with no official communication from the Dev team or community managers about the vision of DRK! Maybe once we hit 100 the balance gods will hear our pleas... Or we wont get anything and we still wont have any communication or understand what the devs are trying to accomplish with this class. As it is right now whatever they are trying to get out of it isn't working.

I was crying about drk at the beginning of Sb but no one cared. Well maybe, hopefully somone will answer.

This is getting absolutely ridiculous.

This game used to be built on community feedback. In 2013, you made significant changes to boost the community based on what was written in these forums. Now we're almost 100 pages in and not one acknowledgement that it's been sent to the teams for review. It's not just a matter of the teams looking at it and dismissing it, but that the players don't feel like anyone is sending this feedback to them. Improvements can be made by offering an acknowledgement and knowing that something has been passed on.

But that isn't happening, here. It seems like no one reads these forums, and there's a great amount of improvement that can be made by hiring someone to acknowledge these posts and offer a greater desire to let the community feel heard.

It's sad because I was planning to stay drk in 4.2 even without Buffs. But seeing how SE is insulting us with this patch, i'll just do what they want and reroll War.

I would look into the WAR changes with this patch before doing that. I have a feeling we will be seeing a noticeable uptick in the PLD population with 4.2, many of which will likely be disgruntled WAR players.
