Maybe its an EU thing but i'd say 95% of my groups say Hi at the start, and if theres ever been a pacing issue people will say in chat "can you go faster/slow down", never seen a tank not say "ok" when asked either thing either. Its almost as if communication helps resolve issues :O
Happens to often that if you ask for big pulls/ small pulls/Aoe damage/ A specific skill ect. ect. you get answered your not paying their sub ect. ect. So better say the least possible and get it done.
