Likewise...i can be the tank and pull all I want but if I'm with two lazy afk auto atk dps and a netflix healer, we can't make it work.

the best in people and suggest to give advice:
They don't want help in like 95% of cases. So there's

Best way to handle this:

Stop caring.

If people want big pulls, try it. If you wipe, most sensible people will revert to smaller pulls. You do yourselves no favors getting tilted over something that is ultimately trivial.

If people wanna run the show, then run it, as a tank. Who's stopping you?
Or you can sit and wait half and hour to run something or go my pace.
Honestly, I pull what I think will be okay and if we're looking good, I'll continue for more.
If not? I'll slow down. I mean Jesus man, it's hard to get people to tank to begin with.
Quit stressing them. Tanking for some people IS a stressful job.
Having folks screaming at them to do this that, this that is annoying.

There's a big difference between "if the party wants big pulls" and "if I want big pulls", if the majority of the party agrees with you then yeah go try it, but that's not what your first post said, your first post revolves all around you and whether you get it your way or not

if you are not happy with my speed, then your problem, if you are dps then man up and suck it up, without us tanks you won't get into a dungeon or even get far in a dungeon. If you are healer, why are you worrying about speed? You should be worried about keeping us alive when we get into the boss! Want speed? Then dps during the boss when i have a cooldown up!

Yes, I'm not ever worried about speed I'm worried only on health. I see it drop very fast at times. I'm not going to call anyone out, I've dealt with very good tanks. However, could you maybe pull some smaller pulls, especially when it's my first time there. I realize you are confident in your ability. However, I may not be ready with all of the cd's your typical healers are throwing out. It's better safe than sorry as they say, and a slightly slower run might be more fun while many of us are gearing up.

If anyone pulls for me as tank I let them tank it and die then I will pick it up. Enough deaths they will learn not to pull for you.

Had a Scholar pulling extra mobs in Darkhold when I purposely avoid pulling too much where the toads are since so many times I have, people (including me sometimes) get pushed off. Since she kept doing it, I grabbed everything where the Skeletons patrol. Despite rotating through every CD I had, she just couldn't handle all the damage and we wiped. She stopped pulling for me after that.

Death is a great teacher sometimes.

Yes, they do. Setting the pace is one of the duties of tanks. They should of course take the rest of the party into consideration, but when all is said and done it is the tank that sets the pace.

I'm always baffled by people that will spend 50 minutes in a queue, and yet when they finally get to the thing they wanted to do... all they want is for it to be over and done with as soon as possible...

Because dungeons are more or less seen as chores. People only touch the old ones because roulettes randomly pick one and reward you for completion. I groan very loudly whenever Copperbell comes up in Leveling; Snore Cloak in 50/60 and etc. I don't want to do them. So I hope that whatever group I wind up with can pick up the pace fast enough to just get it all over with. Even the ones I do enjoy running eventually become a bit dull when you've done them endlessly. That's why the two dungeon Expert annoyed people throughout Heavensward. They wore out their welcome that much faster.
