Possible AST nerf

Most of the buffs requested, if you actually read the posts, are to abilities that are either extremely underwhelming (Plenary Indulgence, Excogitation) or inefficient to use (Fey Union). Note again that AST doesn't seem to be having these issues either. C:

Again, go back and read them. You'll see the majority of posts will be regarding abilities such as Excog, Dissipation, Fey union, Embrace, Plenary Indulgence, Lillies, Bane, Sacred Soil etc etc. The only reason people are asking for potency buffs are because AST currently beats SCH/WHM in most things.

Also, regardless of whether you like it or not, healer balance can only be achieved with a mixture of buffs and nerfs. Unless you actually want to see AST nerfed to the ground, but I'm sure nobody here wants that outcome.

I have a hard time believing that was an accident when you had to omit the sentence before, and the sentences after to try to make that point. This is why I said it does look like you had to selectively ignore sentences for that quote.

Even if it was some sort of 'accident', I'll stand by my statement: Stop taking things out of its context.

If you find either of these things rude, that's your problem, and maybe you should avoid doing something that would warrant a somewhat hostile response.

light of day of another one. They are just struggling so much to make the 3 healers
in the same light. I just can't take the pingpong effect of the healers being in the highs and lows.
They need to fix them within these next two years so we can
have hopes of another healer. :/ AST was an absolute nightmare and it took the entire expansion to fix.
I was not surprised when we didn't get a healer this time because of how much time it
took to place AST somewhere...I hope they fix this sooner than later.
Just pray SCH will find it's place again sooner.

Youre so wrong it hurts, the fact you dont know sleep falls out of favor in raid content tells you you not only do not play blm but are grasping at straws that dont work.

Rdm does EQUIVALENT DAMAGE to blm

Rdm can RAISE

Rdm can HEAL

Rdm has BETTER MOBILITY

Rdm aoe is marginally behind blm.

Why bring blm when rdm is virtually its equivalent?

I don't really see them nerfing the potency as long as the resource cost for it is so unreasonable for the effect

It does cost a lot 3 times as much as the regular benefic.

. What likely happened in SE's thoughts was that since AST shields don't get the multiplier, they have to naturally be bigger than SCH's, or nobody would ever go Noct astrologian like before.

It doesn't need to be THAT much stronger though. Yes, SCH shields are stronger on the off chance that it crits. But that's not reliable. AST shields are reliable, and nearly as strong as a crit Adlo. That is the definition of broken. It's overpowered, anyone can see this.
