Personally, i found both Verflare and Verholy to be underwhelming.
I wonder if they plan to add upgraded versions of the current spells in future expansions, and are leaving room for improvement.

All the Ver-spells seem underwhelming in terms of animation but I guess they're supposed to be the equivalent of a Tier 1 spell, e.g. Stone I, Fire I, etc... since RDM's always have low-mid tier spells in their appearances. Still Verholy and Verflare are kind of boring.
Also our kit seems incomplete since there's no Verwater/Verblizzard.
Yeah, I'm not really impressed with the Verflare animation.
I am of the belief that Fleche and Contre Sixte are RDM's ice-aspected attacks. They definitely look like sword-shaped shards of ice. As for water, there's a very apparent lack of it in WHM/CNJ's kit as well. Perhaps the Cure spell line is apsected with water, which would make Vercure RDM's water-aspected spell. All the Ver-spells seem underwhelming in terms of animation but I guess they're supposed to be the equivalent of a Tier 1 spell, e.g. Stone I, Fire I, etc... since RDM's always have low-mid tier spells in their appearances. RDM's spells definitely have more visual flair and their tier 1 counterparts on WHM and BLM, though. Verstone looks to emulate Stone III and there are definite visual similarities between Veraero and Aero III. Verfire is Fire with more "fwoosh", and Verthunder has very little in common with any spells in the Thunder line. I actually prefer Verthunder to BLM's Thunder spells (excluding Thunder IV, because that just can't be beat). RDM's version has a deeper, more satisfying "crack" while BLM's is more "sparky" with high-pitched zaps.
Something interesting to note about RDM is that their higher-potency, long-cast spells are WHM and BLM's DoTs (Aero and Thunder), while their lower-potency, proc-based spells are WHM and BLM's "bursty" spells (Stone and Fire).
I would be fine with verflare if it was either larger, or somehow scaled in size with the monster. When I'm soloing things it seems fine, but on a big boss it does look fairly underwhelming. I would actually prefer better sound effects to go with the animations.
Swap Impact and Verflare imo.
Flare Rose' isn't utilized enough.
