SUGGESTION: Make all fish used in Cooking/Alchemy available as retainer ventures.

Fishing is almost certainly the most unrewarding of the gathering jobs. With tons of fish that serve no purpose outside of desynth and a healthy dose of RNG regarding what you catch, it really shocks me to see that a Fishing retainer can't even get the fish needed for cooking in Stormblood. What incentive would anyone have to make a retainer a Fisher in Stormblood?

Look at the level 63 retainer venture:

    Lv. 63 Sea Pickle

Now this could be an error on Gamer Escape's part but... they show the LEVEL THIRTY sea pickle as the reward a level 63 venture. Sure it would be a fine choice as a level 30 venture (of which there are none btw), but it makes no sense for it to be level 63. I'm going to assume however, that whats actually awarded is the new sea pickle from spearfishing.

And now with Stormblood, the fish acquirable via retainer ventures are so few and many of the cookable ones are missing while a few of on the retainer venture list have no use at all. Why are Botany and Miner retainers so useful in what they can bring back but Fishers aren't anywhere close?

If someone takes the time to level fishing AND a fishing retainer, they should really get a lot more out of the investment than they do.

Fish that should be on the retainer venture list but aren't include:

    Horned Turban
    Yugr'am Salmon
    Yanxian Tiger Prawn
    Swordtip
    Corpse-eater
    River Clam
    Amberjack
    Zekki Grouper
    River Bream
    Ivory Sole
    Motley Beakfish

Please consider adding these missing fish to the retainer ventures list for Fishing retainers. And please move the level 63 Sea Pickle venture to level 30 since it actually is a level 30 fish used in level 30 content >.<.

Motley Beakfish thankfully are obtainable through ventures. I'm pretty sure you need to actually register a fish in your log before it can be obtained in that manner.

Also, there are actually two Sea Pickles in-game due to an oversight (The aforementioned level 30 fish and the level 63 variant obtained through spearfishing).

They ought to make all of the best foods utilize fish to increase the profession's profitability, IMO. The Persimmon Sushi is a good start.

The problem with that is the continued patches. The best food in 4.0 will not be the best food in 4.2 If you do that, then pretty much every single dish will require fish.

Also, I've noticed that certain stat combinations tend to be a certain type of food. Spellspeed foods tended to be sugary foods like pastries, or at least in heavensward. Looking at the foods for 61-70, I see they have indeed added a fair amount of seafood to the spellspeed foods, but there's still a couple sweets.

Not sure if you're aware of this but the Sea Pickle the high level retained venture rewards is a 4.0 fish.

I know, it's confusing, but there's two fish in the game with the name Sea Pickle now.
