Will we ever get pet 'gambits'?

I would prefer to set my faeries reactions when on sic. I always stick to obey at the moment but if I could just set a few things up to happen automatically without reliance on macros would be fantastic. Examples I'd use are:

If tank HP <100% -cast embrace (this would be on lowest priority)
If status = rouse -cast whispering dawn (I almost exclusively pair these abilities, but sometimes it might not suit)
If >3 party members have status infliction -cast fey caress
If at least 1 party member status = doom (for example) -cast fey caress
If enemy status = chain stratagem (or other debuff from a party member) -cast fey wind
If party member status = embolden (or other party buff like battle litany) -cast fey wind
If target of tank is casting a spell -cast silent dawn. (still not sure it would happen fast enough)

These are just my examples, and perhaps the best scholars will be doing these things manually anyway to avoid conflicts with mechanics I'm a mid core gamer and don't do much savage content. I think a gambit system would be a massive QoL improvement for scholars of all ability levels. It might also make selene more viable by having her react autonomously to party members skills which I may not have noticed were activated.

Thoughts? Would it be OP to have a nearly autonomous pet?

I do like the idea, and it would make me much more willing to play SCH (so far the only healer I haven't given that much focus to - I'm too used to regen healing). But, I don't think it's likely to occur due to the difficulty it could be to program for SE and how jarring it may be to have that system for the pet.

That said, if they make other pet classes (yes, I know of SMN, shush you) that may require a more consistent play, they might need it.

That said to the "that said," part of the challenge of any job is knowing when to use your abilities effectively. The only reason it's really an issue is because of the action delay for pets.

They demote the guy that created Gambit so i don't see any chance they will ask him to be their game design or director again . SE think gambit is bad

And risk the possibility of Eos actually listening, not taking forever to do commands, or having somewhat intelligence!?

I would definitely love the idea, the gambit system for pets is probably one of the few things that they should bring for any and all pet using jobs. It wasn't that the gambit system was bad, it was that it over simplified Final Fantasy 12 making it so the game could basically play itself and you would have no problems, but bringing it in for Pets is definitely a good idea allowing them.

I think I've actually discovered Selene/Eos occasionally wont respond to me spamming the skill key:
If the faerie is moving, They will not respond to the command until they come to a complete stop.

Dunno if thats just plain common knowledge among SCHs (I haven't played SCH since 2.1), But if i stand completely still with Selene on follow and hit a skill, its instant. If i take a step or two to the left and press the same key, nothing will happen until Selene re-orients herself to the default follow position of rear left. The moment she gets there, BAM skill activation. But until then? Nothing.

Easy fix is to force the faerie to stop moving when you execute a Faerie skill.
And for the love of the Twelve, please stop turning my character to face my faerie when i cast rouse. I've ended up running sideways into walls when i cast that while moving one time too many ...

I would prefer to see a Gambit system centric to a Puppeteer job rather than SCH/SMN. Basically scripting your automaton.
