Tenhou Raiding semi-hardcore recruting 7-10 PST TUES/WED

Looking for up to two members for permanent position in our raid static, Tenhou Raiding on Leviathan.

About us: Most of us have been raiding since 2.x with a focus on Savage progression. We cleared Bahamut and Alexander pre-nerfs, and expect to carry the momentum into Omega. When we're done clearing current tier content, we sometimes do challenge mode runs like minimum ilvl fights.

Raid times are Tuesday and Wednesday from 7 to 10 PM Pacific (10 pm - 1 am eastern). This is a relatively light schedule, but we get stuff done. PLEASE make sure you can commit to these times.

We use Discord as our primary voice chat. Everyone is expected to join, and talking is encouraged. We're a friendly bunch and like to talk.

We believe in recruiting the player, not the class. We have enough players who are willing to switch jobs that we can accept any new candidate. However, we are giving priority to at least one healer (SCH/WHM). We also need one dps or tank.

We are willing to help a player power level to 70 and get gear if they are willing to commit to that job for this raid cycle.

What we are looking for in a candidate:

Dependable: Able to show up each week relatively on time, and give advance warning if they are unable to show up. Please don't apply if you expect to have work conflicts.

Good attitude: Able to work together as a team, suffer countless wipes, and keep going with a positive attitude.

Skilled player: Competent at your class, able to put out DPS (even as tank or healer), and able to learn and execute raid mechanics reliably.

Low drama: Doesn't talk shit about people behind their backs (or to their face) and doesn't get involved in server politics. Able to take (and give) feedback constructively.

Long-term: Wants to keep raiding with the same crew for months at a time. Planning on playing long after the excitement of the new expansion has faded.

Flexible: We won't force anyone to play a class they don't like, and we don't care about having the "best meta" comp, but some flexibility is appreciated as needs change.

Been the replacement for mia static members previously and looking for a permanent group I can grow with. I am interested in either position and have been told by several raid groups that I excell in both jobs.
