    My subtle suggestions for Machinist

    Hello everyone! I am just gonna post here what I think should be changes to be considered so that Machinist is not so overlooked.

    Hotshot: Increase buff potency from 5% to 10%. This should make more worthwhile and help with its damage issue. If it seems to not be enough, then an increase to Gauss Barrel by 5% could would also be a subtle nudge.

    The developers balanced support jobs overall DPS numbers with its support functionality, however, Machinist gives little support for the amount of DPS it gives out, so I considered this:

    Rook Overload gives 10 seconds of physical vulnerability.
    Bishop Overload gives 10 seconds of magical vulnerability.

    If possible, make the potencies of rook and bishop overloads the same, so as to prevent people preferring one over the other.

    Some quality of life changes would be that Gauss is automatically re-equipped after overheating and/or for the turret to be automatically re-summoned when the damaged debuff wears out. I don't find this to warrant a change, if the job is too automated, it becomes boring.

    This are only suggestions for the support and damage aspects of the job. I do not have enough experience with the job to suggest changes to its overall play-style and we would all welcome suggestions to this. But remember, be subtle.

    For starters Wildfire should be 50% of cumulated damage instead of 25% to actually make it feel impactful. Than I would up the overheat damage by another 10%.

    thoughts:

    1) Add more utility! If BRD's are focused on buffing the party, maybe make MCH's about debuffing the enemy, like hypercharge.

    2) If not keen on above, maybe add a 3rd turret that is focused on healing or defensives. This would be a nice addition, plus a good thing for when you play solo.

    4) I get the whole "keep heat gauge at bay" playstyle and I like it, but there are much more options to increase the heat than to decrease. I mean, overheat could only happen if you really pushed there or if you really messed up. Maybe they could give us pvp version of reload or something like that.

    5) Gauss Barrel really feels like something that exists just for the sake of it existing. You have to re-equip anyway ASAP, there's no choice there. Might as well ditch it or making the MCH have something more for not having it equipped?

    6) Just a vanity thing... Allow us to hide the aetherotransformer please! Or at least give us different model options!
