Hello Square-Enix,

I've been a long time Summoner player, playing since 1.0, and as a Summoner since the release of A Realm Reborn.

With the release of Stormblood, Titan-Egi has gotten quite a bit weaker. One of the draws that pull me towards Summoner is the ability to summon a tanking pet and fight thing that would normally destroy me. Since Heavensward, I have noticed that Titan-Egi has not really grown in strength through 60 as the normal world enemies that I face. With the release of Stormblood, I have lost the ability to effectively heal Titan-Egi.

Titan-Egi has as much HP as say a Warrior or a Dark Knight, but doesn't have the armor. To test this, I went to outside of Castrum Oriens to test on Sapria to how well Titan-Egi did enemies versus other tank jobs. The results saddened me really.

At level 60, Titan-Egi has about 35,000 HP, comparable to Warrior and Dark Knight, and more than Paladin. Fighting the Sapria outside of Castrum Oriens, I noticed that Titan-Egi was taking about 1400-1500 points of damage per normal hit. Compared to Dark Knight and Warrior (with no stance), they were taking about 900-1000 points of damage. Thus, Titan-Egi is taking about 50% more damage than the other tanking jobs. So, Titan-Egi is about the equivalent of a same level tank wearing level 1 gear.

What compounds this is the Summoner's inability to keep Titan-Egi alive. With the loss of Sustain, the only option is Physick, which heals for 400-500 HP. No, I'm not missing a zero there. Compared to the 4000-5000 HP that SCH can heal in a single cast. And if Titan-Egi dies, the enemy that the SMN is fighting will undoubtedly kill said Summoner.

To put simply, the ability for Summoner to solo as in 2.0 has been greatly impaired. I feel that something must be done to improve this situation. I would suggest the following:

1) Giving Titan provoke. If the Summoner needs to resummon Titan, at least Titan can regain hate before the enemies kills the user.

2) Give Titan-Egi a trait that will allow it to take more Healing, as a sort of a permanent Convalescent effect. This will allow the Summoner to have an easier time of keeping the Titan-Egi alive.

3) Have the defense of Titan-Egi scale a bit better. Again, this is something that I noticed with Heavensward, but having Titan's defense scale a bit more to be similar to the other tank jobs would help it keep alive long enough for the Summoner to finish the enemy.

I hope that Titan-Egi would be improved so that Summoner can solo things a bit easier like before.
