■Scholar
・The introduction of “Miasma II” as a job specific skill.
・Changed the cooldown of Emergency Tactics to 20 seconds.
・Indomitability [stay tuned]
・Strengthening Excogitation.
・Changed the range of Fey Union to 15 malms.
・ Aetherpact has been changed to increase Faerie Gauge even when Aetherflow actions does not inflict an effect on the target.
・Introduction of a trait reducing the cooldown of Aetherflow.

■Astrologian
・Arcana and Royal Road cards can now be discarded via an action.

■White Mage
・Adjustments to the rate of which Healing Lilies are granted.
・Plenary Indulgence will see some major adjustments.


SCH seem good so far but i think there will be more . AST get another buff

This should indeed the mp problem, the fact that we have a lot of AF skills, the fairy gauge slow to be built...

Discard the Arcana, Royal Road or drawned card, it's useless. The only discard thing useful would be the Spread card because of Sleeve Draw.

Otherwise, it's nice for Scholar and White Mage (need to see in detail).

I like their approach with the SCH changes so far. I like that they're not reneging on the Aetherflow MP nerf and the fairy potency nerf, since I think those were easily SCH's strongest attributes pre-SB. I'm a bit disappointed to see that Adloquium isn't seeing any adjustments, since frankly the Noct AST version is better in every way AND more mana efficient as well. I'm curious to see what they do with Excogitation...just buffing the potency would be boring, it would be nice if it added a pretty powerful shield or something to it if it triggers, to further strengthen SCH's "shield healer" background.

I speculate that the Quickened Aetherflow trait will now be guaranteed, but instead of a 10s reduction it'll be a 5s one instead, leading to a 45s Aetherflow overall. I think making the trait guaranteed but at 10s (leading to a 30s Aetherflow) might honestly be a little OP, so hopefully that's not the route the devs are taking. But I also hope it's not something pithy like, "increased the odds of Quickened Aetherflow proccing from 20% to 50%" or whatever - SCHs are a job that thrives on planning, so having an RNG trait like that which completely messes up their stack planning is just a bad idea IMO.

I'm cautiously optimistic about these changes. It will really depend on the final numbers and effects of Miasma II, Excog, and Indom. But, I believe they addressed a lot of the issues brought up on the forums. I am a little disappointed they didn't do anything with the shields and it seems like they are trying to steer scholars more away from them. I guess this is okay assuming the changes to Excog and Indom make up for it. I am a little curious though about the atherflow trait. The translation makes it sound like the cooldown reduction trait is a new trait and not a change to quickened atherflow. Does this mean that the quickened atherflow trait will still be there as well?
