    It would definitely be a lot better if they made movement during casting drastically slow casting down rather than cancel it entirely. Same should go for being hit, no more hard interruptions for a vanilla smack upside the head. Casters in XIV aren't glass cannony enough to justify repeated breaks in their ability to attack, and the mechanic is there for nothing more than flavor/tradition at this point.

    I always suggested Surecast to be changed to be a spell making the caster able to move while casting the next spell every 30 seconds. They said they were removing useless abilities, but they "buffed" surecast so you can't get interupted by stuns or knockbacks, yet every mechanic that knocks you back, still does even with the spell on. SE, please? ._.

    That then goes into the problem of players needing to use movement to cancel casting at critical times (like accidentally starting a Verthunder/Aero without Doublecast), although not many are aware that pressing the ESC button does that too.

    If dark knight was "broken" I would still be playing my class. It is because I love the theme of it and I enjoy tanking. I believe most players who are not playing atleast summoner or black mage is because of the red mage and samurai fever. Summoner has also seen some issue not because of a "get in get out" ability, but the lack of sustain for their pets. I cannot speak for black mage since I never picked them up or looked at their kit before.

    That doesn't suprise me in the least. BLM has been garbage since 3.0 IMO. It's standing has only gotten WORSE in 4.0.

    There's no upside to it. It's completely outclassed by RDM. No Utility, No damage to back up it's lack of Utility, and it's allergy to any kind of movement that might be required in a savage raid that will kill it's already sub par DPS. Why would anyone choose that over RDM?

    It is the ONLY caster in this game that can't use res!

    In very movement heavy fights, yes atm you're better off just skipping B4 outside the opener. Perhaps this will change when BLM MP and Fire 4 casting times are adjusted, as well as having access to a lot more spell speed with newer gear.

    they should just add a "Surecast" Trait allways active to BLM that allows them to cast while moveing. Would fix the issues BLM has.
    SMN has Sustain issues thats it, since it works alot via DoT and Pets
