    Final Fantasy XIII's battle system really didnt require too much thought...just faster reflexes. And maybe not even that, since all you really had to take care of was one character and manage paradigm shifts.

    As for XIII-2, I cant comment...but that really wouldnt work well in an online multiplayer scenario. And as far as whats here now, we arent even near max cap i'd imagine, so you dont want the bosses to be too hard.

    Once they introduce more combos, and more advantage points for said combos (directional attacks) then i'm sure you'll be moving around enough to ensure an active fight. Not to mention special effects being overhauled in the next update (the whole reusing animations for this patch and being fixed next time post).
