Please let alts be tenats of a house

I have two characters on Mateus right now. One of them owns a house. I'd like to have the other character be able to access it as if they owned it. I know we can have friends be tenants. Why can't alts do the same? Does SE have any plans to add this feature?

This could also help with the situation of separate alts buying up houses.

Yes please! I'm in the same situation. I have a lovely house, 2 active alts and they can't share it.

Why can't we friend alts? That would solve that issue, we could send mail between them, could add them as tenant to our house,...

I think that would also be good for the housing situation, as main could share house with alt, not requiring a person that has several characters to own several houses, as is so much complained about.

Since we're on the subject of alts, I would like an additional tab in the FC chest that could be accessed by all my alternate characters that share the same server with my main. Not all of us have the luxury and/or clout commandeer the FC shared areas of the chest inventory.

It's as if what you are saying should be an obvious feature in game...and yet it isn't. I wish we could send mail to alts too - neither will probably happen though.

I need a way to friend my alt! It's so frustrating having to ask others to hold/mail my items, gil etc. to my alts. I could've bought another house for my alt, but I didn't want to steal plots from others and settled for the apartment building. But even that isn't a solution.

I'd have expected all characters on the same world to share a single house from the start TBH. Considering more that housing plots are limited. Sending mail to your alt characters would be nice but I think the better solution would be a type of communal chest that had storage accessible to all characters on that world. This item could be a furniture piece players could place in estates and also available at an inn room in any major city.
