The changes to Plenary Indulgence with the introduction of the new Savage tier has been an interesting experience. I think that the change has been mostly done with the idea of the Savage tier healing requirements in mind. With proper timing, it saves me MP and a GCD that is better spent dpsing during heavy subsequent party aoe damage phases. Is it perfect the way it is now? I don't believe so. But is it viable compared to before? Definitely. I feel that the 60second cooldown should be cut to 30 seconds due to how short the buff timer is. There are times that I feel that the MP cost gets steep when you have to cast another AoE heal to extend the timer just for an idea of a spot healing potency boost top up through PI. In essence, I believe it could serve better as a party shield instead due to steep costs when Thin Air is down.
