You also made the mistake of queueing up for them as a tank. (In some 24 man, the tank gear has the lowest drop rate too, in comparison to the number of DPS/healer/tank slots.)
Tanks have the longest queues for it, then healers, then DPS.
(just wait till 4.1, and ur tank queue is going to be like 3+ hours on content u want current iLv gear from.)
