is it POSSIBLE to "hack" during pvp?

i swear i just saw a BRD during pvp that teleport AWAY from me to get away... at 1st i tho it was just the server issue or something but then he does it AGAIN and AGAIN lol...

How far away? we do have a jump back move.

They used to do speed hacks for a while, not sure what they're doing now if anything.

I've seen many people do it. They do it on mounts mostly, there's no running animation. The mount is still and teleports farther and farther, faster than a mount can go.

Repelling Shot is the likely suspect here.

AST also have access to Deorbit, which is literally just the role skill Rescue, and has a gigantic range.

When people are D/Cing/Lagging they have the tendency to teleport away, but yes there are people that hack in PvP and tons of botters too.

I've seen it a lot..reported it and nothing got done about it. I even personally know people who use such hacks openly sharing it, admitting it and still not getting in any trouble.

i also remember back during 3.X i was running 8v8 feast matches and got matched with a dualboxer double blm, they would move together in perfect sync and get double fire IV combos. you could say its 2 ppl in sync, but they moved around in follow and would perfectly cast at the same time during the whole match, i opened a ticket back in the day, and the GM said dualboxing would be using a third-party program and so not allowed. never got to know what happened to them tho, as they would "investigate the issue"

And still they wonder why their PvP is such garbage, expecting revamp will change it all, wondering why they keep receiving complaint

Unfortunatly it is possible.
speedhack and TP mostly.
Pretty annoying when you don't have time to focus the guy and emote to know his name.
