I don't think you need 3 for the golems, because I'm pretty sure you can just burst one of them down asap and have the other two eat the meteors. Hell, you might even be able to shield+heal through the exploding meteors these days.

In T9, you need 4 or 3 with insane DPS, otherwise the Firescorch and Frostbite during the last phase is going to one-shot you.

I solo'd T5 last night on PLD. As long as you kill the Dreadknight as soon as it comes down before it locks you up, you're good to go.

Reference: I solo'd T1-6 on PLD. Duo'd T10, 11, 12 and 13.

FWIW back in Heavensward I was able to duo several of the coil instances with a friend, using pld/ast combo at around ilvl 240.

We got stopped on turn 8 and 9, I think? Due to not having sufficient bodies to cope with the mechanics. Which led to being instakilled. Everything else we managed to beat, though some fights (especially twintania) took a lot of doing.

At 70, you can likely replicate the same success with much greater ease duo. And perhaps the 'blocked by mechanics' fights can be rushed over with raw DPS at 70, or at least greatly cut down the difficulty.

I'm having the same problem, I would also like to complete Coil to see the story on those raids, but no one wants to do old content anymore.

I't's really hard to get a party going for coil, same thing with the big party raids like LoA, I've been trying to get in a party for the ghost ship for a week now with no luck, it takes too long to get all the players, it's funny cuz in most of the que attempts tanks and healers fill kinda fast but there's always 2 or 3 DPS missing which ends on a tank/healer leaving the que cuz of the amount of time it takes to fill, so it becomes an endless loop of never getting all the players needed.

I do hope they let us solo those too or make some incentive to run them since it seems no one wants to do em anymore.

My alt just hit the 50s on Diabolos. If you want you can friend me and I'd be willing to join a party like that if I'm avaliable. Elvis Marshmallo is my alts name. Might even be able to get my brother and his friends to help if they are online.
