Actually it's already not an issue. You can skip this phase. And pretty sure at lvl 100 you will effectively skip everything so it won't be an issueIt's not your level that makes it difficult to solo it's simply mechanics. Even at level 100 you'd probably still need 2 people minimum to do t5 and deal with the dread night mechanic..
(Though chances are by then players will be doing a million dps and kill it with a single auto attack)
Not quite sure why I'm still here, but since I was genuinely trying to be helpful at first, I feel like it might be worth mentioning to people still wanting to clear this content: the cutscenes for this can get veryyyy long. A lot of people just trying to do it for Wondrous Tails won't be super motivated to jump into a new person bonus PF for it because they might be nervous about being trapped waiting around for upwards of 15 minutes for some of the coils while new players watch cutscenes. If you're going from Coils 1-13, it could take several hours of people's time, most of which will be spent standing around doing nothing for those who have already cleared it, so of course people factor that in when deciding whether they really want to commit to taking new people through the coils.
For anyone who is still a new player with a sprout symbol, I would recommend jumping into Novice Network chat and seeing if any of the mentors there will be willing to take you through or could grab any of their FC mates to get you the clears. Otherwise, you could try shouting in major towns (Limsa always seems to be a good choice or Idyllshire or Kugane if you've reached that far) and asking if anyone is bored enough to take you through. Or, if no one is bored, people may know of linkshells or groups on your server that specifically work to clear new players through older content. Asking if anyone can connect you to other resources is a good start at least.
But at the end of the day, there's no substitute for an FC, as (good) FCs will actively work to help their new members get through the old content of the game and make it up to the newest stuff. For anyone who is in an FC right now with people who are capable of taking you through Coil but are refusing to do so... yeah, I'd consider finding a new FC.
As for not being in an FC...
If this is your standpoint and you don't want to be in a guild long-term, that's fine. But you do have to be aware that it's going to make it much harder for you to find people to group up with, and you'll have to adjust your expectations accordingly. And I mean, it's not classy, but there's nothing stopping you from joining an FC, asking for their help, and then just quietly leaving down the road. Not saying I advocate this, but unless you buy a room in their FC house or contribute to the guild funds, there's no punishment for leaving an FC at any time.

Turn 8 should be doable if you skip missiles.
Turn 9 requires 3, there are 3 golema that spawn, and they merge if theu get too close, and you cant kill them once that happens. T10 can probably be duod, t11 maybe, t12 and 13 would be doable but difficult, dps would need to be good
♥ Baby, tell me, what's your motive? ♥
You're on Lamia, right?
Are you going to be using party finder? because a good sized party now should be able to take you on a whirlwind tour even at 60.
Keep trying, you will get people interested to take that new person bonus.
Duoed t5 the other week just for a WT sticker. The dreadknight already died in two spells. One from the RDM and one from me on AST. It is already not a problem. The only problem I would see if there are attacks that insta kill you if say you don't get released from a trap or something that will always hit you. But even Titan's stone jails don't insta kill you anymore. i am still trying to find people to do coil 2 and final so yeah i dont know those. but t5 is at least duoable if not soloable by RDM.

You might lack heal without heal. Between the bleed stack, vulenrability stack, it hurst a lot.
Yeah as I said I soloed it. You just need to skip the twister phase and everything is fine.Duoed t5 the other week just for a WT sticker. The dreadknight already died in two spells. Maybe you should wait with that and take a step back to ask yourself why you might not have seen it - I dont want to be rude and I certainly dont want to encourage your self-destructive view of "I'm the problem", but all of this seems pretty much like a self-fullfilling prophecy to me. You're going in with the expectation that guilds and socialising will suck - so you either avoid it (and get frustrated because you cant get things done on your own, because the game just isnt build for that - surprise!) or your inteaction actually sucks because thats what you expect.
My BFF has told me the FFXIV community was nice, they are great and stuff, it was another reason why I decided to start playing. But you know what? I haven't seen it. And I'm gonna have a long talk with my BFF when I see him again because I feel that he lied to me about this game. :/
If you isolate yourself from the community, what do you expect? We're not NPCs that you summon into your party and get rid off as soon as your done with your stuff. Networking is actually important - and in my experience there are a lot of great people playing this game to network with! So I'm wondering a little what your expectations were here...?
I do have sympathy for your situation - I've had struggles with some people in the game too, lots of drama happend and I understand the desire just not to be part of such things anymore. At the end of the day thats not going to help you though - neither in the game nor in general. Running away from problems and just ignoring them isnt a fix, at least not in my humble opinion.
If its so frustrating for you that you cant do everything in this game by yourself you might just be better off playing a solo-game.
Because currently you are not able to solo any of the coils. I havent tried all of them yet but to echo a bit what was said before you'll need:
- level 70 on your character
- current endgame-gear, aka an ilvl of 300 or higher
- knowledge of the fight - when you're alone, you'll HAVE to do certain mechanics and know what to do in certain situations. Being level 70 wont turn those bosses into dummies - you'll need practice and skill to know how to handle those fights.
So yeah... maybe ask your friend to suggest some solo-games instead - but dont blame an actual nice community (again: my experience) for bad experiences you had in the past and for your problems. If you dont want to be part of any sort of "team" in an MMO, maybe an MMO isnt for you at the end of the day.
It's one of the worst community I've ever seen in a MMO but you'll run into around 10% of nice players, try finding them and keeping in touch. My BFF has told me the FFXIV community was nice, they are great and stuff, it was another reason why I decided to start playing. But you know what? I haven't seen it. And I'm gonna have a long talk with my BFF when I see him again because I feel that he lied to me about this game. :/
