AF armor (or whatever it may be called)

I doubt its going to be useful in the long term, once they increase the cap it will make it all but useless I reckon.

I'll be even surprised if its much better than materia gear.

This dev team so far have been pretty crap at designing U/U gear.

Its already been stated that the AF gear will be better than most everything but it will be possible to make some rare melded gear that could rival some pieces. So I'm confident that AF will offer better stats as a whole for most people, plus it looks great imo.
