Please, NEVER nerf RDM!

I agree with you Vexander. Red Mage as it stands is perfect and of course some will argue it is OP but really Savage is out now so we will actually see...
A job that is perfect should not get nerfed because SE messed up on the others in the same category, that does not address the underlying issue of blm and smn (moreso smn in this case).
So what people want Red Mage nerfed and then SE will call it a day saying all caster jobs are then balanced? Ask yourselves that.

Myself i have been a longtime blm but there was a few issues with the job itself and well.. i just find Red Mage more rewarding atm. Smn and blm have been excluded from groups i have also seen.

After reading that OP was melding STR in his gear I checked his lodestone page. As soon as I saw it was true I was convinced he has no clue on how stats work. Why, just why, would you meld STR in your gear when RDM damage calcs take INT? STR is useless!

On topic:

RDM is in a good place and there's no need for nerfs. Good that the glitches associated with the job have been fixed though, maybe that'll tone down the outcry aoubt RDM dps numbers somewhat.
