I'm using the rule of if I can't get at least 30 crit from a Crit VI then use a Direct hit VI

For DPS? But all we have are dots and broil...I don't think Direct Hit is a good idea. Crit is of course very important for SCH due to the shields and it helping our heals. I'd think SS or Det would be the secondary stat since those would have more of an effect on our ability to heal.

If you are never touching ex or savage content sure. But sch's are expected to dps in 8 main raid enviroments. Direct hit in the slots that you get no or little crit from gives a very big leap in dps because we start at 0 and can get between 6-10% depending on the gear we have. Putting any other stats in is just making the fights harder for your team by having them last longer over barely making your heals better

I'm currently averaging around 2.4k dps as the secondary healer with no pots or food buffs
