How is the final trial a huge difficulty spike? Genuinely asking; I did it when the 8 of us were new to the instance and I fail to see how that fight is hard. Gotta pay attention to it, that's about it. Oh, wait, I think we found the problem.SE needs to take the lead with this, not the players. When they pull crap like the Stormblood storyline ending battles - with the final dungeons all being about normal levels of difficulty, followed by a huge difficulty spike in the final Trial - it places too much of a burden on the playerbase. It's not hard for players to help each other out when a dungeon is marginally more difficult than the one before it. It is much harder when content goes from walkover to difficult.
im not sure if i completely get this post.
if it means anything, when i looked up a basic level 55 perception crafting rotation, the only tips available are within the perception of players that already had all the best gear and abilities. for example, my current gear only allowed me to have a maximum of 387CP while the rotation shown to me required gear that gave a maximum of 395CP. meaning that i would find no value in the tips until i was around level 60, so until then, i have to deal with failing most of my crafting attempts.
if anything, this is an example of how there are limits to how much high-level players can encourage low-level players requesting the nerfs when the perception of balance is literally on a high-level alone.

What spike? Just because you can snooze all the way to the end of dungeon, doesn't mean you can in the trial. It's a good wake up call, especially shows that most dungeon people sit back and barely click imo.
Prepareth thyself oh forum of online gaming for the doom of all cometh to rain crippling vengeance upon the frightened and huddled masses.

i will post in this thread again, and all thread about this fight
the mechanics come from most of the MSQ trial and some off MSQ raid
may be it was a long time since someone last see the mechanics, or if someone us jump potion, all it take is just 1-2 wipes to learn all the mechanics
so here is what i am going to say, if this fight got nerf, it is more than just the new player who fail and cry for nerf to blame
I have been getting into this fight quite often either helping friends or FC
but the amount of 1/2 wipe quitters are uncountable, they are new player, return player, veteran and even mentor
be patience and learn the fight together or teach those new to the fight the mechanics, and stop rage quitting
I think there is a mentality among some players of just wanting to be carried rather than trying. And the sad fact is you can't force people to change.

People started to meme it after other people started using it unironically, the meme was or is trying to make fun of those people, who do exist.
I know one of those people, he's always complaining about people not minding their own business telling him how to play, and always complaining about being kicked, we have tried to reason with him but he's one of those people who follows the "as long as we're not wiping you can do whatever you want". I just actively avoid partying him now.
