Instead of asking for nerf, why can't players simply help each other for those who needs a little bit push. I'm not talking about being top 1337 player, simply just being decent. Way too many people/players doesn't help and I can understand why. We see it everywhere, where attitude of not even bothering is there and players and by players, I mean very many players often say it's fine to slack.
If you are willing to improve as a player, ask the players with good experience, seek for info you lack and you will improve the long way. In fact you will mostlikely have more fun too and realize that doing good will get you far in the game and will put you in a good standar, which makes you more appealing to other good players, which means you will end up doing more farming and beat harder content on a far faster phase.

So please ask for help and don't look at silly people who spam medica 2, no regen, tanks doing aggro combo only etc.

More often than not when you try to help someone all you get back is "don't tell me how to play", "you don't pay my sub" or some variation of the two. People don't like unsolicited help no matter how much you sugarcoat that help.

Out of all the people i've helped only a very small number has ever given an attitude..maybe I am just lucky.

You got holes on both sides. People who don't want input on better play, then the other side that want to cram their perception of better play down your throat in a not so nice way.

That be then nature of a cross server duty finder. The alternative? Back to seeking for half a day or more for groups.

I love and hate the duty finder.

Out of all the people i've helped only a very small number has ever given an attitude..maybe I am just lucky.

It also depends on how you are saying it. If it comes out like a command, I can see people taking offence. If you say it as a "Hey, I noticed this, if you try using XYZ you might be able to get higher DPS/hold agro better/have an easier time healing" you will usually get better responses...usually.

SE needs to take the lead with this, not the players. When they pull crap like the Stormblood storyline ending battles - with the final dungeons all being about normal levels of difficulty, followed by a huge difficulty spike in the final Trial - it places too much of a burden on the playerbase. It's not hard for players to help each other out when a dungeon is marginally more difficult than the one before it. It is much harder when content goes from walkover to difficult.

Everyone that's done the ARR MSQ has seen almost every ability Shinryu has. The majority of the fight's difficulty just comes from whether or not you're paying attention.
