Drop Rates of mounts from Extreme primals & Dungeons

The way you have the drop rates set up right now I will never farm the extreme primals or dungeons ever. Sure I would like the bird mounts, dog mounts, mounts from gold saucer but I am not running crap 99 times for 99 tokens or try to get 1 million mgp for a mount. Now if you were reasonable and drop the mounts every run, we only had to get 5 or 7 tokens, or 20,000 mgp for a mount then yeah its worth farming to get. Its just like light farming, needing 200 per each rune is retarded, if you made it 50 its worth doing the relic. I have run the content in extreme primals 10 times in a row and never seen a mount drop. Just let the crap drop, so what if it is easy to get it will make the game more enjoyable for some people.

im in favor of just turning this game into hello kitty island adventure as well, that game had the best gameplay and mechs

The tokens and ability to purchase mounts with said tokens were added as a courtesy since said mounts are very rare. They aren't something you're supposed to get unless you're very very lucky or extremely dedicated to working for it. I'm just happy were allowed to purchase them at all, 99 tokens or not.

Yeah...I was dedicated to trying and get Sophie birdy...saw 4 of them drop in my 75-ish clears. One went to an FC member who we got their clear for them, and that person "took a break"(left the FC even) for a few months until the Welcome Back campaign and someone invited them back. Still don't have that bird...or Seph/Zurvan.

You had 75 clears though, you were very well almost there.

Still working towards it...just very slowly. Do a run here and there when bored. Zurvan I have to clear first. Seph...need to find a party that doesn't wipe every second run.

For my part, i find putting the drop rate of extreme primals mount on dungeon for the predator mount is really stupid. I know SE wants to push ppl to help but farm a dungeon with minimum 30 min (synch 310 didin't help but mendatory because the difference of ilvl will be huge after) without token is really annoying because the drop rate is very low.

Else tokens are great and enough for the primals ex farming mount. Nothing to change, even the number needed for the mount.

10 runs is too many, they should give you all the possible drops within 1 clear, same with raids too, and while we're at it 1 expert roulette should give you enough tomestones to gear all 15 jobs. Wait nonono, that's too much work, make max ilvl gear be awarded upon finishing your job quests. "So what if it is easy to get? It will make the game more enjoyable for some people"

You can call me crazy now but I actually like farming and I like it even more with a carrot to keep me going. Since the game sadly doesnt give me baby-carrots I can nom on while farming as reward, I'll gladly take those mounts. Yes, even with the current drops rates.
For ponies and birds the drop-rate has been increased - granted, I could get behind "play with minimum ilvl and have a 100% chance to get one mount to drop" to reward people who are taking on that challenge - and most of them can be done within 5 minutes now.

Personally I highly dislike this "everyone has to get everything right now"-attitude. Not because I've got all the mounts and it would make them less special if everyone else had them too - I couldnt care less about that - but because it would feel less "rewarding" (not the perfect word in this context, bare with me, not a native speaker) to get that mount just on the go and on the first try. It would make it less special to me if it were handed out like candy.
