What happened to Cluster rewards for Leveling Roulette?

I am almost confident that is completely incorrect. Why would they offer the reward to get people to help start a dungeon/roulette to change it while inside? Otherwise the rare occasion the DPS are in need, they would never get the reward.

It is completely wrong. Yesterday morning was the first time I've seen healer as needed in over half a year so I jumped in leveling on my 70 WHM. Got a cluster and when I immediately checked again, it was already back to tank.

Like AlphaFox and Neri said, I'm pretty sure the bonus from being in need to determined before you even enter the dungeon. As long as you queue while in need you will get the reward, even if it changes while you wait for the queue to pop.

Thing is, you start a roulette before the reset that you didn't do the day before. End the dungeon AFTER the reset, and your bonus for the day is already used up, and you missed the day before. It's happened to me a few times where I wasn't able to get on the day/night before and tried it early the next morning...nope didn't work.

Bonus for the day and Adventurer in need are two different bonuses. You receive the daily bonus when the last boss dies, so if it dies when the new day starts your bonus for the day is complete. However the adventurer in need (the one tied to the cluster), as soon as you sign up you are given the reward upon completion.

It would completely defeat the purpose of asking people to queue as something for a bonus if that bonus can be revoked mid-instance.

I've never got more than 1 per day. That's weird.

It can however change between the time you queue and the time the last player hits Commence. Hence make sure that if the last player times out, bring the duty finder back up and check it hasn't changed. If it's changed, then you will know why.

Despite what the queue says in need, keep in mind that there is no raid/extreme roulette, and raids typically are short DPS. Since there is incentive for the cracked cluster, this pretty much means tanks will do the leveling queue a bit more frequently, though typically it will switch between healer and tank every 5 minutes or so.

So far I have never got one cluster as a healer for leveling roulette and when I que i'm by myself and not in a party. Do it everyday using it to level my healers. Most see is a exp. and gil bonus. When look at it always says tank in need when I'm a healers job and when switch to a tank job it always changes and says healer in need.
