Starting Linkshell to help form Static Groups/Farm Parties

I'm planning on starting a linkshell to help players form static groups as Omega Savage looms on the horizon. While the linkshell's primary purpose will be to help people who join to eventually form a static group of 8, it will also hopefully be a place for people to pull in competent folks for Extreme Primal farm parties, bird or pony farms, and any other content where you won't need to risk some of the horror stories that Party and Duty Finder bring.

In order to keep the linkshell from becoming bloated or ineffective, there are a few requirements to be invited and remain on the linkshell:

• Must have completed Susanoo/Lakshmi Extreme trials.

• Must be of Item Level 314 or higher (this number will rise as content is added).

• Must have cleared Omega Normal mode.

• Must be courteous to other members publicly on the linkshell, this is to remain a relatively drama free place.

There are no requirements to participate in anything, but the purpose to join the linkshell is to attempt to form new static groups and farm parties. Extended absence or periods of inactivity may result in a kick.

While I'm not one to want to make the place elitist, there is a certain expectation that those joining are well read enough on meta, stat weights, openers, rotations, and how to perform in a fight.

This isn't a place for people to get their first clear or to be taught how to play the game, though discussion about the meta and optimization is encouraged. By being selective and making sure some of these requirements are followed (and the current content is easy, it is not a difficult request) we can ensure that the linkshell can properly serve its goal.

If you are interested, please send a whisper to my character Zim Zam (70 NIN/AST) to get invited to the linkshell. I'm hoping with enough activity that we'll be able to help others find a home with a new static group.

Have had a 10+ folks join in the past few days. Hoping to get to 35 or so to help form new static groups and have competent players to form farm groups with.

Hoping over the weekend to start figuring out raid availability of folks in the linkshell and their preferred class.

There are currently 43 experienced players in the link shell, with many who have already completed v1 and v2, and few on v3. Great place to meet good players to hang out and find your static member. Once you join, Zim Zam will give discord info where people post their availability and organize runs! Feel free to message me since I can invite to LS as well!
