    2 jobs next time, but how about adding Musketeer (MCH branch)

    We know they will only add 2 new jobs. But how about adding a Musketeer branch to MCH? We all wanted to be like Merlwyb/any of Limsa Lominsa's pirates...could it be possible to use the base skills/gameplay of MCH, give them 2 guns, and a few new Musketeer only skills?

    What do you all think? Is that possilbe or too much work considering that the only thing they need to do is let them equip the same 2 guns and add a few Musketeer skills.

    I'm pretty sure THEY even know they missed a great chance by skipping MSK for MCH. Not many are into the gadget stuff (lowest played class).
    I also have to point out that MCH is one of my mains.

    Whatever they add, if they add, I expect those jobs to the last of the jobs they add. Why? Because they are starting to struggle with balancing the current jobs every time they bump them 10 levels. The overhead of maintaining that many jobs will start to become a burden.

    Another thing I could see is the story changing MCH to MSK. So basically pirates teach the MCHs that the MSK is the better way and MCH essentially evolves into MSK.

    I'm gonna be honest. I'm about as sure as someone in my position can be that none of this is going to happen.
    They won't add MSK and they certainly won't have MCH evolv into it.

    How are pirates with muskets better equipped then people with turrets, flamethrowers, and basically garlean level of technology?

    There was actually an interview and they stated they plan to have as many or more as FF11.

    Perhaps a better point of comparison is the Final Fantasy franchise’s other major MMO, Final Fantasy 11. That game, which received its reportedly final expansion last year, has grown to a respectable stable of 22 jobs. Judging by Yoshida’s comments, he fully expects Final Fantasy 14 to get to that point as well.

    “I believe that leveling in and of itself can be enjoyed as content,” he said. “Choosing which jobs to add will get harder and harder as we progress, but we still want to add them.”

    If they end up only doing two I would say no because healers and tanks deserve new jobs next expansion. It really wouldn't be fair to the tanks and healers. That would make two expansions without them getting a new job.
