MSQ won't progress, GM won't listen

Hi Guys,

I don't normally write complaints on the forums. However, I'm more than a little disappointed.

I have an issue when the final MSQ quest "Stormblood" won't progress.

The quest is stuck on the step "Use the Duty Finder to Confront Shinryu in the ROyal Menagerie

I submitted an in game bug report and received no response. I then used the in game harassment report to actually be connected to a real person.

They advised me to post a bug report on the forum.

I posted a bug report on the forum but it has not been seen by anyone.

I then asked the GM if they had an ETA as to when this significant issue would be examined. The GM stated they were unable to provide an ETA.

I explained that this was unacceptable and asked them to provide contact details for their manager, or someone that could assist. They then said that they were unable to assist and closed to ticket.

I don't normally complain about customer service, but, to be frank, I have never encountered such terrible and dismissive customer service.

Now, I have a ticket on the forums, which SE will probably never look at and a character that's unplayable because of their bug.

Exactly in what way does the quest not progress? Are you unable to queue for the Royal Menagerie? Does the quest not get completed after you clear the encounter?

That's exactly right, I queue and complete the fight and, after exiting, the quest still reads "Use the Duty Finder to confront Shinryu in the Royal Menagerie"

Have you tried clearing it again?

I have cleared it twice now and it still doesn't clear. I even logged out between clears.

oh wow you are in a pickle..that's not a quest you wanna try over and over to see if it works. I don't know what to tell you since they technically reached out to you (albeit, not a good answer)

Is this a known bug? You're the first I've seen who has it but that doesn't mean there are a lot others

I haven't heard of anyone else having a similar bug. Tbh, I don't really mind if GM can't solve the issue then and there. I do expect something better than "go to the forums and maybe get a response never".
