Another patch for worthless PGL

As I mention before 1.20 when I look at the ability which look like jack of all trade. I predicted that PGL will continue to be useless in any PT set up for boss battle. So I asked SE to take some look into it. Most answer says "wait until patch release"
And now with one weeks pass after patch release, nobody care to recruit a PGL at all. This proved what I said was right. I wonder if SE intend to make this class just useless forever? (it has been useless since 1.18 fight already)

PGL is better than GLA for the moogle fight. People only moved away from GLA for tank last patch because it didn't block.
Blame it on conventions if PGL is unwanted , not patch.

As for soloing , I find PGL to be the strongest because of their evasion and counterattack. Plus, they can solo combo all their skills due to a cheap stun move.

You should dump your crappy endgame LS then.

Why Pugilist is in demand for Ifrit for those groups who know how to fight it properly:

Off Tank or Tanking
As the person above pointed out the Pugilist having Taunt makes them an awesome off tank or probably even tank for Moogles.

Burst Damage
Howling fist is an amazing combo easily capable of over 1k damage. Bursting down moogles like the Pomburner is absolutely key, at least in our Moogle strat. We have a very skilled Pugilist who has proved that Pugilist carries his own weight in this fight and then some, and if I were forming a PUG I'd jump at the chance to have a talented Pugilist in the setup.

If you have MP problems maybe don't leave fists of fire up the entire fight, it has a 10 second recast. You can toggle it off/on pretty easily during long fights. You also have Featherfoot (very useful for MP regen) and sucker punch.

In my opinions Pugilists should be advocating SE for a switch from INT to PIE as their secondary attribute so that they can get more MP. Pugilists definitely could use some changes, but stop calling them worthless. You are only contributing to an existing ignorance about how mechanics in this game actually work.

Seriously if you can't see how a Pugilist can contribute to this fight, you are likely horrible at this game. I wouldn't invite you to a party.

Pug does very good damage, even more so with Fists of Earth up.
