So the new Omega Raid came out and we all know its a big reference to FFV, at least the Deltascape. But the boss of V3.0 is Halicarnassus, yet the boss of Haukke Manor is also Halicarnassus. Isn't it that last time something like this happened, they changes the names around? Why is this time different, or has it just not been caught yet? Also the Acherons, but meh, lol.

Since the boss of V3 is created by omega based on an old fairy tale, one may draw the conclusion the succubus in Haukke could have been the cause for the fairy tale to exist to begin with.

It's the same way in Japanese too, whereas previously it was an issue because the Japanese bosses explicitly had different names yet the English localisation encountered a clash.

Aside from it being perfectly possible for two people to simply share a name, the Deltascape Halicarnassus is a construct, created by Omega from a fairytale and therefore a separate entity from the Haukke Manor succubus. As for the succubus, she might be the origin of the tale, or it could be that she was inspired by it herself to take on the name and fashion herself after the fearsome goddess of legend.

I was wondering the same already - the point here isnt that two people/mobs cant have the same name for lore/logic reasons but rather that that was some sort of a technic-issue if I recall correctly?

Didn't they change the Haukke Manor boss' name? The patch notes specifically mentioned that some enemy names were changed.

They previously had this issue due to the outer La Noscea S rank being called Mahisha (Which is now the name of a Lochs A rank) when it was called Chernobog in every other region.

Just went to Haukke hard to check and it's the same name. Pretty sure the spelling is the same too.
