Let me skydive off of the really high places into a bed of cherry blossom leaves on the ground and I'd be down.

    Or something like FFVII....

Let us skydive into certain locations inside a big arse dungeon with boons for where we land at. If we get separated, we must rendezvous with out getting caught less we get thrown in a dungeon. Enemies would be too strong to solo, very challenging duo, and get easier as the group regroups until the final bosses. Searchlights abound, creep in the shadows, and eliminate thy enemies.

I am okay with jump puzzles however the two we have (least that I know of) 1 relied heavily on invisible ledges which I feel makes it harder than it needs. In dungeons, I am okay if they are simple (and if a button at top opens a staircase or way for those who can't to jump up.

Likewise with the "rescue from the goblins" minigame in the other part of the Golden Saucer, that again has you jumping while avoiding bombs. You can't actually just jump and run, you have to stop and jump.
That's not a problem with wasd it's a problem with xiv's janky movement system. Plenty of games allow you to adjust your trajectory in air and their jumping feels organic and fluid. Try playing gw2 or wildstar for jumping done right.

I really like them a lot, but I believe it should be kept for optional, side content, such as the Kugane hostelry sightseeing log. It definitely should not be used for things the masses do, as it is a niche gameplay aspect that not that many people enjoy.

Innocence doesn't mean an absence of wickedness, nor is it represented by the absence of anger or hatred. Innocence is when seeing others hurt also hurts you. When one becomes blind to the people suffering in the world, that is what it means to have lost one's innocence.

Add as many jump puzzles as you like -- with no more reward than some sort of 'Eorzea Jump Squad' achievement, and maybe another crown.

It was bad enough that they tied an aether current to a jump puzzle around level 62/63. That one was problematic as it was (a) in a cave with extremely low lighting and (b) impossible to achieve except by trial-and-error since you had to be at exactly the right angle to make several of the jumps.

I hate jumping puzzles in MMOs. Platforming challenges deserve controls, handling, and physics that were designed for platforming.

As long as they are optional because I would not do them. The tower one I couldn't complete because it drove me to almost break my keyboard in two out of pure rage I felt towards it. I don't like feeling that way, so I would rather avoid them being required.

    No.

Go play GW2 if you want more jump puzzles. I find them really annoying when they include them in MMOs, specially when they force you to do them to complete certain quests or get some important items.

I don't get why some people just go "no never", when others debate about some 100% optional additions that might give the players something to do and also may make the zones outside of towns livelier. Cause that's what jump puzzles should be, a completely optional thing to kill time with a non game breaking reward (maybe tomes once a day, a little gil, a title,...) to give people credit for doing them.

Yar. If they're going to add more jump puzzles, they need to complement it with a better movement system. I like jump puzzles, but not when I'm struggling with a barely controllable character and the "puzzle" is guessing what invisible hitbox extension to land on.
