No to dungeons simply because they would just be ignored, even if there was a loot chest at the end.
The main issue with jump based puzzles in MMO's is you can never get solid control of your jumps the way you can in platform games.
Yes, but only in open world. It should be something optional cause, while personally I enjoy them, I know it's not everyone's thing. It could be tied to sightseeing log, I liked the ARR ones where you couldn't just fly to the top, just no weather/daytime stuff please. Or it could give a small tomestone reward for completing maybe once a day. Just don't make it mandatory to do it, there are a lot if people who wouldn't like something like this, but also a lot who'd have fun with it.
Maybe they could developp their point of interest system ?
I remember Wildstar and it's explorer "craft" job, it's all about running aroud, looking for hidden points that can open hidden caves etc etc
People don't know how to take criticism anymore, and bad play is rewarded with with a coddling mentality. Yes, this is a casual game for the most part - that doesn't mean people need to walk on eggshells in fear of getting reported for pointing out things. This whole 'please don't say anything even slightly negative' mentality that we seem to be going towards and the devs seemingly pushing towards it is creating a disturbing trend.
Revamp the movement controls first.
No, the controls and movement are frustrating and awkward for jump puzzles.
If you make them a mandatory thing to pass in instances/trials, you risk holding up groups because of one guy who might suck at jump puzzles and take many attempts to clear it.
If you make them optional, then they'll more than likely be skipped.
Not much sense to adding them to instances.
No thanks. I hate puzzle jumps
How about the legendary "log 26" on every dungeons ?
Movement for jump puzzles are fine. Git gud.
