    Error 401 on Mogstation purchase attempts... still... 4 years later.....

    From a simple Google search people have been posting on these forums and reddit about this since at least 2013.

    I was able to purchase a potion on the 9th, then I purchased another one on the 10th. I paid my sub almost 60 days ago and shortly after purchased a mount. Today, I went to purchase another potion and I start getting this error. No idea why it all of a sudden started now. Same computer, same browser, same internet, same card, etc... that I've always used.

    I played FFXI from launch to the end. I moved here at the end of HW and really wanted to make my home here. However, I'm not doing this again. It was a constant pain in the butt to get SE to take my money through that Verified by Visa crap. Just not going through this again. Not a single other MMO I play do I have to jump through 10 hoops to get them to take my money.

    I canceled my sub tonight... not out of spite or because I'm mad, simply because the only possible way I can resub is if you fix this system. It literally will not let me resub unless you do. I tried to update my CC info on my acct page and it won't even let me do that.

    Yes, there may be a work-around that involves me driving all over the place to get a card, or sending copies of my license and card to SE or w/e. But really... if we continue to jump through hoops so they don't have to, what incentive do they have to do anything about it. It's a principle thing. Fix it and I'll sub and drop plenty of money in the Mogstation. Don't, and Blizz is going to get it again.

    ... this is nuts....

    It's been over 24 hours, still can't add a credit card, subscribe to the game, purchase crysta, purchase items on the mogstation and it's failing with both my Card and Paypal. Feel free to send an email to your players when you want to update your payment system, from looking at the threads on here I'm not the only one that's leaving due to an inability to pay you... (lol, that just really sounds bad). I'm sure a lot of us will come back. Until then.... peace.
