I really don’t get where people get the idea that the relic is terrible from.

The Alexandrian metal spear was godawful compared to the final stage relic it had skillspeed ffs. Even for those obsessed with ilvl over stat allocation the ilvl of the lux was the same as that of the Alex savage pile of junk

When you had your 275 from raid in 3.41, even before being able to buy the i260 with tomestone and obtain the upgrade item to up it to i270 (1 month before the release of the relic quest for the i260!), you didn't really had any choice.
