Disabling "flash" on target?

Is there any way to disable the white flash that happens to a target whenever you click on it?

Asking for machinima purposes.

When I played on PS3 I could make my character look at the camera by pressing the Pause|Break key. maybe you can do the same on PC?

Dont think thats an option but, if you need the head to pan from one side to the other the effect should be doable by pre-targeting a ninja who then performs shukuchi no?

Yes, you can do the same on PC, just hit Pause/Break and your character will look at the camera

It's going to be more difficult for machinima purposes, but as far as I know, there's no way to disable the "white flash".

This is the technique I'm probably going to need to go with, though it has some restrictions of its own and I'd rather be able to just target things without the flash if it's possible.

Just don't have that many accounts, sadly, but a good idea.
