    Dont think thats an option but, if you need the head to pan from one side to the other the effect should be doable by pre-targeting a ninja who then performs shukuchi no?

    This is the technique I'm probably going to need to go with, though it has some restrictions of its own and I'd rather be able to just target things without the flash if it's possible.
