Your problems are going to be latency and timezones. People dismiss this stuff but at some point, it will catch up with you. IMO stick to NA server, moving to an EU data center it's a bad decision.

Edit: I'm talking from personal experience, I used to play NA TERA and those two thing made me quit the game when I wanted to do high end stuff (near impossible to find statics and the latency make certain encounters a nightmare).
