Weavers 40 Items + required for a single craft

So...
am I the only one annoyed from the high amount of mats required to make stuff with weaver?

Lets just take Bloodhempen Brais of Striking:
3x Bloodhempen Cloth (3x3 Yarn (36 Bloodhemp)
1x Bloodhempen Yarn (4 Bloodhemp)
1x doesnt really matter

Other Crafting jobs usually work with around 12 Items.

This is why my weaver hit 70 first and I'm not even specializing in it.

Another thing would be the levequests. No good ones at low level and all require items that costs alot in terms of bloodhemp.
Just for 10 leves I would need 400 bloodhemp. And 360 for a triple.......
Not sure if they get better ... at least i do hope so....

At 64 You can turn in Kudzu Thread. It's 4 Kudzu Vines to make 1 thread.

Levequest - Of Great Import (I think)
1x Kudzu Thread = 260k xp

This one is also repeatable, so if you hand in 3 HQ threads its about 1.6mil xp. I admit, I bought some from market board between 10k-14k on my server.

I haven't done any WVR turn ins and hit 2 levels just by doing the GC turn in and grinding the Bloodhemp which were easy to get. Once I got to 62 I started grinding Ruby Cotton and gained another level. I'm sure if I turn a fair amount into cloth and use a commercial manual HQing the mats I'll get to 64. Then all I have to worry about is the Kudzu thread due to the leve. Wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.

Not exactly anything new. Wasn't so long ago (for me) that I remember burning through stacks of cotton. And then stacks of flax.

Weaver (and I would say to a lesser extent, armorers) suffer a bit excessively in having multi-step mats to craft. Most of the others, it's just craft the mats, craft the gear. Logs to lumber, lumber is used for gear. Hides to leather, leather for gear.

Don't really expect them to change it, though. Maybe if they would just cut down on the number of cloths required for anything.

Ye I've also been grinding bloodhemp string and cloth.
Also did some levequests with items i bought from npc caus on my server 1 bloodhemp cloth = 20k and 1 levequest item bought from npc = 19k...

For endgame noone cares how much hemp u need but leveling..... ughhh

Highly recommend lvling wvr and btn side by side, the absurd item cost kinda works in your favour exp wise, also hurts your wallet less

The part that always hurt for me was crystals and shards. Many of the recipes have a 2:1 ratio for Lightning crystals to traditional material. It explains why most crystals are in the 100-150 Gil range when Lightning are between 600 and 800 depending on your server.

Yep. Lightning crystals are expensive, but easily farmable if you have miner/botanist or both. Wind crystals are even more expensive and is my biggest problem atm.
