Basically the cards don't hold as high of value in a dungeon-type setting, nor are they game-changers. In a raid, however, the Royal Road effect can be significant. You may understand what the ability does, but that doesn't mean you know how to use it. Dungeons =/= Raid.
I played Dungeons at level 60. I played Raids at level 60. There isn't a huge change outside of individual mechanics. Otherwise you could state that people don't know how to use Royal Road with every new raid.

Example: Cleared Sophia EX, therefore I know how to use Royal Road. But I haven't ran Zurvan, therefore I don't know how to Royal Road.

While I'm a bit irked by the loss of our ability to see friendly AST statuses (which affects not only playing with another AST, but even other classes at higher levels of play, where a tank may see an AST has Bole held and infer that they won't need to use a cooldown on the next tank buster, etc), I mostly have no problem with not being able to remove RR. Frankly, doing that was always a pain for controller players, and I never bothered. It doesn't make that big a difference in most situations. The one time I really find it frustrating is when I literally just threw out a couple single-target cards and then need to use Spear on myself or Bole on a tank and find I only have the AoE RR effect. "Oh, it's essential that you use this card? Too bad! You have to overwrite your own buffs!" I don't mind having only having 50% effect potency if the stars didn't tell the future I had hoped for, but having to overwrite a bunch of well-placed cards just rubs me the wrong way.

It is weird that we can't see other AST cards. I don't mind the royal road thing, but it is weird the neat HUD system has also had the side effect of taking away the ability to work together with other AST. It would be like not being able to see if the other AST is in Day or Night stance.

    If this happened:

AST/AST would be the only thing anyone would want, ever. Imagine: Balance + Arrow.

Before getting sleeve draw the only issue I find is the lack of seeing what other Ast's have.

Once you get sleeve draw, not being to click off RR or stored cards is a large detriment to the skill. Having a card stored that does nothing for the party that you can't get rid off except using is annoying.

I think AST is fine how it is except the not being able to see other AST's cards.

It is a problem in DF content where your co-healer is randomly picked for you, and honestly when DF pairs me with another AST in 8 player content it is the most frustrating and least fun run.

The argument about savage raids and not being able to see cards as being a downside to stacking AST is flimsy tbh....a raid group with voice communication will just organize themselves with that or create a alternating system since statics are in direct communication with each other all the time and have off-time to make strategies. Imo I don't think AST/AST will be a good setup anyway; maybe speed runners will do it but that is like...<1% of the population.

The only issue not seeing another AST's cards is in random DF pugs where there is no easy communication and you cannot pick what healer you are paired with; so unless the DF stops stacking same job healers it just makes it frustrating and not fun. DF is generally casual content so it honestly doesn't matter much but the fun aspect suffers :/

I really like how AST plays so I don't see any other issues with them really.

Not being able to click off the RR just makes it so you have to be more mindful of what you RR and it isn't that much of a nerf at all really so I don't see it as an issue. AST is powerful enough without being able to click RR off and Sleeve Draw is also powerful enough if you know how to use it...RNG can screw you over of course but that is how AST is supposed to be.

Just be more strategic with RR and decide what your plan is and not RR mindlessly...RNG can still get you, but that is just normal AST gameplay you have to deal with if you play one.

In my opinion the ability to click RR off isn't something AST needs and they are fine without it and they also DEFINITELY DO NOT need card stacking of any kind. That would be way broken.
