More Open World Content Doesn't Mean More Old School Open World Content :)

Currently FFXIV has a lot of open world content, however, none of it is used outside of leveling up, and maps. That being said, Yoshi-P and the development team have expressed that they do not want to make more open world content, and list off issues from old school MMOs... I can totally understand where they are coming from.

But I'd like to voice my support for enhancing the existing open world content (namely FATES and Leves) to be enhanced for end game, or max level characters who no longer need XP.

1. Update Fates to reward a small amount of Tombs for completing them. This should be balanced with the avg amount of time needed to complete a dungeon, so that you'll never be able to gain more tombs from doing fates, but this would be an option for players waiting in queue (I'm looking at you DPS) to get some form of currency for their time, while they wait.
2. Add Lockboxes or Hord Sacks as possible rewards for completing fates. This should be for all fates, and while they don't have to drop all the time, it would make for some extra reward that you get to have "decrypted" later.
3. Update Leves to allow you to spend your stack of 100 allowances and have a boss rush mode (for lack of a better term) where the game will throw ever increasing levels of fights your way until you eventually loose. Join this to a rank/score system, and boom, more end game content, plus it's naturally gated behind your leve allowances which are a timed currency.
