PS4: Can't Purchase Heavensward?

Hi,

I'm a very new player who recently purchased FFXIV Online Starter Edition from PSN. This gave me the base game of ARR plus a 30 day free trial if I'm not mistaken.

Since I like the game very much I was probing around to purchase the add-on Heavensward in the same manner, digitally from PSN. But however, I keep getting greeted to pages that say "You're not allowed to view this content" and I cannot search for Heavensward on PSN as it doesn't show me the individual add-on.

Mog Station shows me that I do not own HS. When I try to go on the route to get HS to PS4 from Mog Station links, I get the same "You're not allowed to view this content" page in PS Store.


P.S.
I just noticed that SB add on, both the normal version and the Collector's edition in PSN includes Heavensward in itself. Does this mean that I cannot individually purchase HS through PSN without SB?

You could try buying it through a third party retailer. Amazon still has it in stock, and it's likely plenty of other places do as well. But SE is no longer selling it directly or through PSN.

Nope. The Stormblood box definitely says "includes Heavensward". I'm very happy with that, since it means new players don't have to pay for TWO expansions, like certain other MMOs used to do.

No. ARR (or the Starter Edition as it's called some places) still only includes the first 50 levels. It's the Stormblood expansion that's actually a combination of both expansions.

Theres a "complete edition" that includes all three, but the "regular" ARR is now called the starter edition and is just those first 50 levels and its story. HW is rolled in to SB for purchases for the time being.
