Bring back the classic FF menu cursor sound.

You know, the noise they used in other FFs when you were scrolling through menus, canceling and selecting stuff? Whatever happened to that? The last game I remember it being in is X. I know it's a pretty superficial change but it might help make FFXIV feel a little more FF-ish.

That is one thing I don't understand. In every FF, all the menus are extremely well designed. In FFXI and FFXIV they're just... horrible.
I know MMOs are very different from single players but still XD

I never liked that sound, I play FF7 and FF8 with the sound Off because this constant "tweek tweek tweek" is hitting on my nurves :P

I don't think it's superficial at all. I really think that it's also little things like that that play with our psychology and lets us know that something's familiar.

I was actually expecting the little hand, blue(or grey) background and the sound effect. I can see how some people might find it grating though, but I like it. It's a way of saying "haha look, it's still a Final Fantasy game!"

I even remember the blue with gold-trimmed tiled text background I always picked in FFVI.

If it ever made a comeback, it would HAVE to be optional. I can't stand that menu sound.

I think there should an option in the sound options to make the original UI sounds or the current UI sounds.

Good news everyone! If Yoshi follows through on his idea of allowing custom UI and Addons, you'll be able to get your own custom UI similar to classic FF titles.

i hate FF14 menu sounds with my gut, I had to change them all for FF12's.

In short for SE people: Use everything from the classic great game YOUR company created ...
jeez i dont get why do they like to avoid using the theme of FF and its history as a big plus in the game
