Solution to healers not dpsing in dungeons

I've recently gotten a string of Tanks in dungeons that pull just about everything and uses few, if any, CDs. More than once I've found myself with all my oGCDs used and spamming Cure II until I run OOM and we wipe. As a WHM.
At least I haven't received any flak for it yet, but..

Yeah. I'm much less inclined to DPS in dungeons with PUGs right now.

This is such a pointless thread lol. Everyone's arguing about a healer not doing damage? last time I checked if someone is healing even if they did throw out a damage spell it does barely any damage compared to, you know, an actual DPS class.

Like someone said at the beginning of the thread, if nobody died and you cleared the dungeon, why is anyone moaning.

I'd understand if a healer just wasn't healing. But if they are and they are doing their class role (healing), then this entire thread is a waste of everyone's time.

Let healers heal
Let tanks take damage
Let DPS deal damage

Anything beyond this is a gift and the extra damage trash does in SB shows that SE wants it this way.

Stop being petty and tank because tanking is your job.

Things hit harder now... period... healers have to focus on healing and not DPSing because tanks don't want to adapt to the new meta, which is : do YOUR job... if you're not killing things fast enough it's not a healers fault (unless they let people die thus slowing DPS). Tank sets the pace but they are the ones who need to adapt to their group...

And as a side note I had a member of a FC I was in who was a 73yr old female player.... so a 60 yr old isn't far fetched at all...

I may just have DRK as a secondary job but until the healer asks me to pull more in Stormblood content it's a single group at a time.

Sure, it takes longer, but I'm a WHM main and know how hard the new enemies hit.

Especially while leveling when you might be healing at the minimum ilvl.

It's so dumb that we spend so much time yelling (err, typing angrily) at each other over such minor disagreements. I take the Homer Simpson view: Healer dps is like sprinkles on a doughnut. It makes a good thing better, but it doesn't need to be there to enjoy the doughnut. If you're not in a savage raid where every second counts and everyone needs to carry their own weight for success, then chill out! Put on some good music. Vape. Relax. If you're in a dungeon with low dps, the healer ain't gonna make a difference, guys. May as well enjoy some quiet time. I listen to ASMR videos on youtube.

I'm mainly a summoner DPS (but heal from time to time), and you know it's a problem when as a DPS I have to help with resurrections and pathetic curing abilities when the tank decides to pull 3-4 trash mobs. It's really a waste of time when the Tank decides that the healer has time to DPS when the tanks themselves are causing the agony TO THEMSELVES. How are you going to blame the healer when you are setting them up to pretty much be cornered to listening to your pathetic excuse of an instruction. If you are blaming other party members for your own rushing and exceptions, you should just drop being a tank, period.

I recently returned and have been playing a healer doing dungeons. I was worried people would want me to only heal. I really enjoy doing both.
