Maybe we could have an option like the hide headgear option for each part of the body. That way, you could go barefoot, shirtless, heck gloveless if you want.
Kugane in game is not Japan in Earth. Immersion for everyone is a very subjective thing. True Immersion will only appear when we will be able to enter video games physically (like Matrix) and be bound by their rules. And then we again will find thing to complain about "immersion". It's a video game don't take it too seriously.
Lol. So the game having clear influence of japanese stuff means square has to make some weab feel better because he wanted to come to the forums and whine?
The dude with the pointless quote about his standards is right though. Just make a quick glamour for your home and inn and only (so we dont have a bunch of idiots running around barefoot in the game)
Hell no. We have enough pervy weabs in japanese games like phant star online 2 and FF. Last thing we need is 10000 naked cat plebs running around. IJS.
White Mage ~ Scholar ~ PaladinBoi if you got kicked for the same thing in over 20 duties I strongly suggest you think hard on whatever the hell it is you're doing
As I'm sure you are well aware, it takes more than one person to be able to kick a player from a duty, so in all those instances there were at least two people agreeing they'd be better off without you tanking.
In many, if not most Japanese public spaces and homes that require you to take your shoes off before entering, people don't go barefoot and actually wear indoor house slippers.
So, if this is such a serious problem to you, just simply take off your foot gear everytime you go in and tell yourself the sandals you have on are your house slippers.
There problem solved.
On the topic of Kugane and real-world influence, anyone else chuckle when they saw that the foreigner district was named Ijin-gai.
