    No. F no. I rather enjoy seeing hunts and smashing them in the face on sight. It's open world and thus my right. Put on your big boy pants and travel with a group if you want the hunt yourself. Don't sit with your thumb up your butt and wait for some LS to do the leg work.

    You dont cry early pulling when you see a group of mobs do you? It's an open world enemy all the same.

    Not a good comparison since early mobs respawn within minutes not days. And let's not kid ourselves here. While plenty of hunters legitimately hunt, many use certain programs that call out when they spawn and where.

    Just level up all hunts to be level 70. There, we've fixed the problem. Kinda hard to take things down in 5 seconds if their stats are high enough to where that's only taking off around 10-20% of their health.

    Witnessed this personally...maybe half a dozen of us were at the timed node to spawn Croque, "we" (I don't know all of them, just my LS leader) spawn it, it pops directly behind us, and the player who was the first to hit the node and change to a combat job hits the ubergoober as soon as the call goes out. Literally that second or maybe the second after.

    Such a thing cannot be corrected by the player base because of those few who choose to ascribe scarcity value to the tiger mount ("It's more valuable because I have it and others do not.") when the supply should theoretically be unlimited ("Everybody can have one, given enough time and effort."). Nothing short of a mechanical barrier, ie. a 60-second period of invulnerability immediately following spawn for S-Ranks, is going to alter this.

    Ahh another hunt thread... I wonder if the devs even care that players get at each other's throats. Yes we all know the problems... Early pullers, non-scaled kills, respawn timers, Guildworks, LS leeches and deadbeats who join linkshells but then barely participate except when S ranks are called out, etc etc etc... yawn... next.

    Reality is, if you found/triggered the hunt, you do whatever you want. It's your right to do so. Wait or pull, your choice.

    To the frustrated ones left with the short end of the proverbial hunt stick, keep posting threads like this. Direct your frustrations to Yoshi P and Co. They are the source, not the ones who left you a carcass on the landscape.

    If my example of pulling within five seconds of spawn does not qualify as "early," then perhaps we should change this to "If you weren't camping it with the rest of us, then you don't get a share of the spoils." If a person hears the call go out, drops everything, races there as fast as their computer will take them and it's still "too late," then just get rid of the "arriving" part, and the call as well. Maybe by next expansion, ARR S-Ranks will be soloable. By then, if no mechanism is in place to increase their longevity, SE might as well slash the spawn timers down to a fraction of their original length, at which point ARR-S's will be the new ARR-A's, where it only gets called and marked dead if the person who found it enjoys being helpful. But at least that way, there will (potentially) be more to go around for everyone.

    ARR S ranks really should take a bit longer to kill, considering that they're arguably more valuable then HW S ranks now due to the scarcity of Allied seals coupled with them giving the same amount of verity and poetics.

    I honestly see no problem with scaling A/S ranks to 70 difficulty. A hunt's a hunt and A ranks are one of the easiest kills. Just RIP any newbie running out of Quarymill that gets slapped by Cthulhuflayer.
