graphics card/processor help!

2 options.

1) Wait for 2.0; which is when they actually release a game on an engine that's optimized for Windows.

2) Grab a 2500K and a 560 Ti. Overclock the 2500K to 4.3GHz (most motherboards do this at the push of a button, completely safe nowadays).

FFXIV is heavily CPU focused; just buying a new GPU won't really do all that much.


Edit: And yes, the guy 'trolling' (spouting factually incorrect information) about 30 FPS needs to go educate himself. Eyes work with light and electrical impulses, not framerates. Also, 30 vs 60 FPS is clearly visible to anyone with a functioning brain, just like a 60 to 120Hz monitor (TFT based) has a clear difference to anyone with functioning eyes, even on the desktop. (wait, am I getting into the wrong subject here?)
