A Rank - multiple but limited number of players
B Rank - solo/duo.

A Ranks are not built for how the playerbase is currently dealing with them.



yea Diadem 1.0 was so great.
Increasing S rank spawns and decreasing their rewards while basically removing A ranks entirely by making them a weekly kill is not going to make up for the loss.

I never did the original Diadem, but being able to potentially point out something that was broken and also widely unpopular does not mean that being widely unpopular makes it broken per se. Rather, a connection between the two may exist because broken things tend to be unpopular, not because either state is sufficient for the other per se.

Again, stop trying to "fix" things that aren't broken. If you don't like the Hunt, feel free not to participate. Don't try to get SE to take the content away from the people who are enjoying it now just because you won't be satisfied unless everything in this game is tailored to your personal preferences.
